Why Become A Sponsor?
Our aim as a charity is to provide support and relieve some of the financial burden of competing in winter sports for upcoming athletes under the age of 25. To do this we rely heavily on donations and sponsors.
Sponsors are allocated to a particular athlete. There is no fixed amount of money that is required. Whatever you wish to give is always appreciated. You simply pay into the Personal Sports Fund of the athlete you are sponsoring.
Becoming a sponsor means that you will be helping UK young athletes to train and compete in winter sports, and thus helping strengthen the UK’s position across winter sports competitions. Who knows, you may end up sponsoring the next Olympic Gold Medalist!
Rules Surrounding Becoming a Sponsor
Because of the nature of the fund, the sponsor for an athlete cannot be any of the following people:
- The athlete themselves
- Spouse, husband or civil partner
- A relative
- A relative of a spouse, husband or civil partner
- A company under the control of any of the above
