In our eyes everybody should be able to take part in a sport of their choosing and this shouldn’t be constrained by the costs of that sport, unfortunately this is not the world we live in. We do this through Charitable donations and fundraising. We aim to help young gifted and talented individuals go further in their sport via access to top class coaching, injury Prevention & rehabilitation, nutrition, equipment and funding. We like to think the WSF is a charity with a difference. It has been set up and is run by winter sports enthusiasts, people with world class knowledge in the areas of finance, sports nutrition, rehabilitation and coaching.

Another area in which we aim to increase participation in winter sport is on the world stage at major sporting events such as the Olympics and Paralympics. As success breeds success, the more super stars we produce, the more people will want to get into that sport.

This enables all the aims of the charity to be fulfilled without having to resource other people outside the charity and eating into the charitable funds.
The winter sports Foundation, like all charities relies on charitable donation in order to carry on the good work and help fulfil our aims. For the Personal Sports Funds, Whilst we do not charge parents and athletes anything to become a member, we do ask that if you are able to, you give a voluntary donation. For a years membership we would recommend between £20 – £50. But as mentioned, this donation is completely up to you. Please also remember to tick gift aid when you make the donation!
